I loved my trip across Canada but was really sad that it had to end. I loved catching up with my friends and having all of the wonderful experiences that I did, but time was up and it was all over. I saw some great thing's over my times in different cities and will always remember the moments that I had. I hope that there will come another day that I can go back and do a roadtrip similar to this one. I have to say I have never heard an arena as loud as I heard the two on this trip.

It was really cool to travel around in a Toyota Corolla the whole time. Some of my favourite parts of the trip were when I got to be with nature and see our really natural parts of nature. It was also great to be able to see the locals and different cultures come together to be one cities. It was an honestly wonderful trip and I was really glad that you were able to read all about it.

It was the first day in Vancouver and I would not be able to see Shaggy and Velma until tommorow. So I decided to see the Vancouver Convention Centre. I had to book my tour three days ahead just to get in. They made the place to be as green as possible and it was amazing. My favourite part was the grass on the roof. You don't see stuff like that back home. Staying in the green mood I decided to go downtown to get a veggie burger. While downtown I noticed the Vancouver Aquarium and since I love fish I decided to go in. The fish were beautiful colours and looked amazing swimming through the water. After that I was really tired and decided to hi the hay.

It was day two in vancouver and I was excited to see Shaggy and Velma, but sad it was my last day on the trip. I met up with my friends at a coffee shop and we just caught up. Before we knew it half of the day was gone. Instead of cramming in a bunch of thing's we decided to really just cherish one. We went to the Olympic village. It brought back memories, like Sidney Crosby's golden goal and our first gold medal. After this I was sad but the trip was over and I had to head back home.

I was amazed when I finally arrived in Edmonton. I was excited, obviously because I was only one stop away to seeing my friends Shaggy and Velma, but also because I have heard so much about the West Edmonton Mall. I was originally going to go to the mall on my second day in Edmonton, but I was bursting with excitement, so I didn’t wait another second. Right when I walked into the mall, I decided to go to the waterpark. After spending an hour riding some of the best slides I have ever seen, I went shopping. They have hundreds of stores to choose from(I’m happy I didn’t bring my mom). After buying what felt like an entirely new wardrobe (at least that’s what my credit card said), I decided that it was time to visit the Telus World of science. It was unbelievable to see some of the things you can do with science. My favourite part was definitely was the environment gallery. After that I grabbed some grub at a diner that I heard some of the locals talking about. The food there was divine. I finally checked in to my cozy little hotel and watched a Scooby Doo marathon. Couldn’t wait for the next day to come.

It was day two in Edmonton and I decided that another hockey game would be a lot of fun. I called up Adam Sandler again and asked for another favour. Of course he still owes me from when I saved him from the sharks in Chile. Anyways, this time he was able to score me some great box tickets right next to Wayne Gretzky. I arrived at Rexall Place, which if you didn’t know it is the third oldest arena in the NHL. I enjoyed a great game with the Oilers edging out their opponents 3-2 in triple overtime. Since the game went on so long I was only going to make it to one more place that I wanted to see in Edmonton. I decided that since I have seen so many different types of art it would be good to see yet another. For this reason I went to Citadel Theatre and saw “A Christmas Carol”. The actors really brought the play to life. After the play I ate dinner with a few of my old time friends from University and then got ready for Vancouver.

It was the fifth day of my trip and I was starting to get a little homesick so I made a call. I called my mom all the way back in St. Catharines to tell her that I safely made it to the wonderful city of Winnipeg. She was so happy to hear my voice. After the much needed conversation the sightseeing side of me kicked right back in. I wanted to see the difference between the art in Montreal and the art in Winnipeg, so I went to the Winnipeg Art gallery. I can really say that the art represented Winnipegs Heritage. After I was done at the gallery I decided to see a different form of art, so I went to Assiniboine Park Zoo. It was amazing to see all the wild animals so close. My personal favourite was the Slender Tailed Meerkat. After a long day in the hot summers sun, it was great to go swimming in the pool at the hotel and I couldn’t believe my eyes when Shaquille O’neal showed up in the gym. After a great day a good nights sleep felt awesome.

I woke up and I couldn’t believe that I was already over halfway done my trip. It was also a sigh of relief knowing that I was one day closer to shaggy and Velma. As I was walking downtown I couldn’t help but notice an old spitfire plane flying over, so naturally I followed it. I ended up inside of the Western Canada Aviation Museum. It was amazing seeing all of these planes that dated way back in time. I couldn’t believe that some of these planes had even fought in the war. I decided that was all the sightseeing I could do in one day so I went for a walk in downtown Winnipeg. I was astonished with my luck when I found one hundred dollars on the ground. I took it back to the hotel and spent it on dinner. I had to get to bed early because I had a long trip to Edmonton the next day.

I was so relieved to get to Montreal in one piece because the whole way to Montreal I had to drive next to Betty White and it turns out she forgot her contact lenses at home. This time instead of going right out and doing the first activity I had planned, I decided to use the great invention called room service. When I was done with my order, I think they had to restock the fridge. After I was done eating I had to hurry up so I could get to the Bell Center on time. My friend Adam Sandler gave me rinkside tickets to see the Montreal Canadiens face the San Jose Shark. It was amazing game where P.K Subban scored a hat trick and Carey Price made forty two saves. After the game I was even given Carey Prices autographed stick. It was only around two thirty after the game so I took in some art at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.It was amazing to see Edwin Holgates piece called Nude by a Lake. That was all of the sightseeing I could do for one day so I returned back to my cozy hotel room and dreamt about the exciting things that I had planned for tomorrow.

The next day I met up with my longtime friend Stephen Harper to grab a cup of coffee, but everywhere we looked was full. This is when stephen made a few calls and suddenly a helicopter showed up. The helicopter flew us all the way to the top of Mount Royal where a table and two steaming cups of coffee were sitting for us. We talked over our coffee for about twenty minutes and then we both went our separate ways. After that I contemplated going into Montreal's national park, but decided not to. Instead I went to the Old Port of Montreal and went for a leisurely cruise with Kevin Durant. We talked basketball and I am pretty sure that I convinced Kevin for asking a trade to play with the Toronto Raptors. Anyways, after the four hour cruise I went back to the hotel and went to their four star restaurant. I had their filet medallions and they were divine. If it weren't for my tight schedule I definitely would have gone back. After my wonderful but lonely lunch, I called it a night and prepared for my travels to Winnipeg the next day.

At my first destination of this long road trip I was so excited to get started that I wasn’t even paying attention to the road and missed my exit. I decided that before checking into my hotel I should checkout Pier 21. When I arrived at Pier 21 it was like a blast from the past. I could imagine all of the immigrants sitting there just hoping that they would make the cut and not be sent back to the country that they came from. I was also one of the lucky people who was able to see the Pier 21 logbook. After I was done at the museum I checked into my hotel and had a large complimentary breakfast. I was so lucky that my hotel was on the banks of chocolate lake because it is an amazing view. I was so excited about my trip I didn’t realize how tired was and took a thirty minute power nap. I decided to relax for the rest of the day because I had a long trip ahead of me. So I spent the rest of my day roaming the Halifax Public Gardens, which are one of the oldest Victorian gardens in North America. After I was done there I went back to the hotel and went to bed without any dinner.

To start out day two in Halifax I went to breakfast at a very posh eggs and bacon restaurant in the heart of downtown. I decided that I needed to see the beautiful outdoors of Halifax, so off  to Kejimkujik National Park I went. It was wonderful to see the un-touched forested plains of Halifax. Well I was in the park I was so lucky to cross Little River and Big Dam Lake. I also was able to see the Ribbon Snake, a Black Bear and the Painted Turtle. For lunch I was able to hunt down a white-tailed deer and I cooked it over the fire. The fat really added to the flavour. Before I left I decided to see some of the really fine art in Halifax, so I visited the Alexander Keith’s Brewery. Although I wasn’t old enough to sample any of the beer, they took me on the tour of the brewery and it was amazing to see how much work it really takes just to make a single bottle of beer. The tour was also good because of how passionate our tour guide was on beer. I decided not to stay the night in Halifax and to start my drive to Montreal.
